Day 1: HOME - EDINBURGH

Arrive in Edinburgh and pick up your rental car, then head at your convenience to the city center. Enjoy a free visit to the Scottish capital, which offers a spectacular urban landscape marked by duality: on one side, the historic Old Town with its alleys and medieval cobblestone streets; on the other, the elegant neoclassical Georgian façades of the New Town. Included entrances: Edinburgh Castle, Royal Yacht Britannia, or Palace of Holyroodhouse.
Free lunch, dinner at the hotel, and overnight at Prestonfield Hotel 5*.

Day 2: EDINBURGH - SCOTTISH BORDERS - EDINBURGH

Set off at your convenience towards the picturesque region of the Scottish Borders, located to the south of the country near England. This charming, hilly, and rural area is dotted with stately homes, haunted castles, and magnificent abbeys, all bearing witness to its rich and tumultuous history. Return to Edinburgh in the late afternoon.
Included entrances: Traquair Castle or Abbotsford House, Melrose Abbey, and Rosslyn Chapel.

Day 3: EDINBURGH - TROSSACHS - GLENEAGLES

Set off at your convenience towards the Trossachs region and Loch Lomond. Known for its varied landscapes, this protected natural area includes the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, an eco-tourism sanctuary ideal for beautiful walks. Between the charming towns of Callander and Aberfoyle, you will find forests, vast peat bogs, wild valleys, waterfalls, and stunning lochs. In the late afternoon, head to the Perthshire region to reach your legendary hotel, the most iconic in Scotland.
Included entrances: one-hour cruise on the beautiful Loch Katrine and a visit to the Glengoyne whisky distillery (the most beautiful in Scotland).

Day 4: GLENEAGLES - STIRLING - EDINBURGH - HOME

Return to Edinburgh at your convenience. On the way, stop at the famous Stirling Castle, a symbol of Scottish independence and national pride. It is one of the largest, most beautiful, and best-preserved castles in the country—an absolute must-see! Before reaching Edinburgh, also visit Linlithgow Palace, the former royal residence of Scotland, located in the middle of a park on the shores of Loch Linlithgow. Finally, head to the airport, where you will return your rental car. Departure from Edinburgh back home.
