A day dedicated to exploring the Thórsmörk Glacier Valley, nestled between the Tindfjallajökull and Myrdalsjökull glaciers. You’ll cross numerous torrents tumbling from steep glacier-clad slopes before discovering the Gigjujökull glacier lagoon. The landscapes are magical: miniature birch forests, torrents, crevassed glaciers, waterfalls, and steep-walled canyons, making this one of the most spectacular sites on the island. Today, you’ll follow the Eyjafjallajökull and Myrdalsjökull glaciers along the foothills to discover a strange coastline, from the dizzying Skógafoss waterfall (62m) to Skógar and the region's traditional houses, reaching Vik for lunch. After visiting the stunning Reynisfjara black sand beach and its impressive basalt organ formations, you’ll take the steep Reynisfjall mountain road, home to puffin colonies, before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
This morning, follow the Hvita river to the “Golden Falls” of Gullfoss, often crowned by rainbows, considered one of Iceland’s most beautiful waterfalls, before entering the geothermal area of Geysir with its bubbling turquoise basins and the famous spectacle of geysers, such as Strokkur, which shoots a column of hot water up to 30 meters! After lunch, continue to Thingvellir, a vast rift basin alongside a fault several kilometers long and the only place in the world where tectonic plates can be seen at the surface! The natural site is breathtaking and is also the birthplace of a millennia-old nation, where the parliament was founded in 930. In the afternoon, arrive in Reykjavik for an orientation tour, dinner, and overnight at Hotel Nordica.

After lunch, the ROYAL SCOTSMAN will welcome you with the sound of bagpipes for an exceptional journey filled with Art of Living and colors. Head west toward the River Clyde, the starting point for the majestic West Highland Line. Tea is served, and you’ll pass Loch Lomond – the largest in Scotland. After Ardlui, the ascent of Glen Falloch will offer its waterfalls. Further north, pass Bridge of Orchy with the spectacular view of Rannoch Moor before arriving at Spean Bridge, your overnight stop. After a gourmet dinner, Ray Owens, a Highlander, will recount the exploits of legendary Scottish heroes.
Breakfast is served in the splendid Highland setting on the way to Fort William. You’ll glimpse Ben Nevis (the highest point in the British Isles) and continue north along the coast to Arisaig, for a stroll on the beautiful Morrar Sands beach, with a superb view of the Isle of Skye and its mountains. Return on board for lunch, then continue to Bridge of Orchy for a cruise on Loch Awe, dominated by the ruins of Kilchurn Castle – A very Scottish postcard! Your train will await you at Taynuilt, the overnight stop (at station), just in time to prepare for the cocktail and followed by a festive dinner.
This morning, return toward Gourock. At Weymss Bay, disembark and take a ferry to Bute Island for its landscapes and rich history, from St Blane's Chapel to the Glen More village. You will also visit Mount Stuart, a spectacular Victorian Neo-Gothic construction that illustrates the extravagance of the 3rd Marquis of Bute with Scotland’s most beautiful private collection of family portraits. After tea, enjoy a free walk in this noble home, its peaceful rock garden, plant garden, and pine forest. The linden avenue will lead you to one of Scotland’s most beautiful beaches. After returning to the mainland, continue by train to Glasgow, then Stirling. Dinner and overnight aboard (at station) with the historic city dominated by the royal family’s castle as your backdrop.

Today, you’ll encounter landscapes of extraordinary variety. Cross the Burren's stony desert and its mysterious prehistoric dolmens, then reach the giant Cliffs of Moher, with their 215-meter drop facing the Aran Islands and the hundreds of seabirds blending their cries with the crashing waves. After lunch, cross County Galway to reach the most famous home in the country, which will host you for the final stop. You’ll enjoy both the magnificent setting of ASHFORD CASTLE and its refined cuisine at your farewell dinner.
